Inspired by my journey and the time I spent living in Kobe, Japan, this series reflects my deep connection to the art of Japanese Shodo calligraphy and the profound beauty of Roko Island. I first began this artistic journey in 2010, crafting abstract calligraphy that captured the essence of that moment in my life.

Today, I’m returning to those roots, reimagining these works with a fresh perspective.

The word "rebirth" speaks to the revival of something treasured – an awakening of beauty and energy that transcends time. Each piece in this series is a visual meditation, a blend of ancient Japanese tradition and contemporary abstraction, and an invitation to experience a moment of calm and introspection.
